Over the first three season, Olentangy Orange finished runner-up (2020) and 3rd (2021, 2022) in the OHSWCA Girls State Tournament. Additionally, the team won the inaugural girls state dual meet championship, defeating Marysville 42-32.  In 2022-23, girls wrestling moves from OHSWCA to OHSAA championship status at the Schottenstein Center.

This past season, the Pioneers finished 11-0 in dual meets and won their second consecutive district title, outscoring 34 other teams and defeating Delaware Hayes 214-190.  At the state tournament, the nine state qualifiers scored 83 points to finish 3rd, placing five wrestlers: Lexi Simmons (5th at 110), Alicia Coleman (4th at 140), Kascidy Garren (5th at 145), Surraiya Mahmud (5th at 155) and Talia Mitchell (5th at 190).

Over the last two seasons, the team, wrestlers and coaches have racked up recognition.  Four wrestlers received first team all-metro recognition: Simmons, Taylor Hill (135), Garren and Mitchell.  In addition to the entire team receiving Academic All-Ohio (team GPA of 3.7), seven athletes received Individual Academic All-Ohio (state qualifier plus 3/5 GPA): Lucy Scheibeck, Hill, Coleman, Garren, Aida Walters, Surraiya Mahmud and Talia Mitchell. Coach Oswalt also received the CDWCA Coach of the Year award.
