ORANGE HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS PROGRAM

Since Olentangy Orange HS opened in 2008 until 2018, there was only one female wrestler in the high school program: class of 2016 grad Sydney Sijan.  In 2018, Taryn Martin competed for the boys varsity team as a sophomore.

In 2019, the girls high school varsity program officially launched and had immediate success, rostering over 20 girls.  Now, four years later, the program is thriving.

​

With a growing number of OOHS girls wrestling alumni, the team is setting up for a long and accomplished history.  Cementing the status of a girls K-12 program is essential.
